The Ms. Black Fit & Fine pageant is designed to promote the long-term health benefits of following a healthy lifestyle. We want to provide a platform to showcase African American women age 50 and older who have embraced this concept, and are able to serve as role models for other African American women. It is well documented that 56.5% of African Americans are overweight or obese. Cardiovascular Disease kills nearly 50,000 African American women annually.

To use the crown to help reduce the number of unhealthy African American women through inspiration, resources and education on how to improve their quality of life. We encourage individuals to research the use of alternatives to traditional medication in their quest to be healthier.
