About Us

The Purpose
The Ms. Black Fit & Fine pageant is designed to promote the long-term benefits of developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We provide much needed platform to showcase African American women over the age of 50 who have embraced this concept, and are able to serve as role models for other women.
The Mission
To use the crown to help reduce the numbers of unhealthy African American women through, inspiration, resources and education on how to improve their quality of life. We encourage individuals to research the use of alternatives to traditional medication in their quest to be healthier.
Our Support
The Ms. Black Fit and Fine Beauty Pageant is an organization that invites sponsors and volunteers to join our movement to help women embrace the positive aspects of aging.
Sponsors may include individuals, government agencies, private business, social and service organizations.
We recognize the importance of giving back to the community.
A portion of our proceeds will be donated to support The Caring Hands Sarcoidosis Foundation. a 501c3 Organization.
Sarcoidosis is an auto-immune disease that the Ms. Black Fit and Fine Beauty Pageant founder, Veronica hood, has battled.
